Hole Descriptions
Hole 1
A nice par 4 to start your round. Goose River runs to the left. Pin placement can be tough. The approach shot is key!
Hole 2
You’ll need to hit a good tee shot on this straight par 4 so you have a scoring club in your hand. OB lurks to the left all the way down. Trees wreak havoc on sliced shots!
Hole 3
Watch out for the infamous “Hell’s Hole!” A bomb off the tee might actually be trouble on this hole if you don’t find the fairway! Place shots and don’t go deep with approach shots!
Hole 4
First chance at a par 3. Depending on tees, this can be very tough! Watch out if the pin is low on the shady green or there will be a slick downhill putt for birdie.
Hole 5
Reachable par 5 for most good ball strikers. OB to the left all the way down, but this is certainly a hole to score on!
Hole 6
Very challenging par 3 that will test the long iron game. Bail outright and it will be a tough second shot. Pull the ball and it will be OB. Great ball striking is again rewarded!
Hole 7
The second of two par 5 holes. It’s a daunting hold, especially into a stiff north wind. Three good shots are needed to have a look at birdie. The trees in front of the tee box make it a right-handed fade player’s nightmare!
Hole 8
Handicap says this is the toughest hole on the course. Long par 4 uphill. A good drive is a must on this hole to have a controlled club on the second shot. Lots of doubles await on this hole!
Hole 9
The nine-hole round ends with a chance to make a birdie. A simple short iron will usually get you on the dance floor! Pin placement can test even the best putters on this hole.
